Air Fryer Blueberry Muffins

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted and cooled
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries


  1. Prepare the Muffin Batter:
    • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
    • In another bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
    • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently mix until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
    • Gently fold in the blueberries.
  2. Preheat Air Fryer:
    • Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C) for about 5 minutes.
  3. Prepare Muffin Cups:
    • Line your silicone or paper muffin cups with liners or grease them lightly.
  4. Fill Muffin Cups:
    • Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin cups, filling each about 2/3 full.
  5. Cook the Muffins:
    • Place the muffin cups in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not touch or overlap.
    • Air fry at 320°F (160°C) for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean. Cooking time may vary slightly depending on your air fryer model and the size of your muffin cups.
  6. Cool and Serve:
    • Allow the muffins to cool in the air fryer for a few minutes before removing them.
    • Transfer the muffins to a wire rack to cool completely.
