  • 3-4 heads of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)


  1. Preheat Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare Garlic:
    • Remove the outer layers of the garlic heads, leaving the skins of the individual cloves intact. Cut about 1/4 inch off the top of each head to expose the tops of the garlic cloves.
  3. Prepare Marinade:

  6. Serve:
    • Remove the garlic from the oven and let it cool slightly. Squeeze the roasted garlic cloves out of their skins and serve them warm.
    • Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
