Ingredients

  • 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour

  • 3/4 cup (180ml) milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 18-20 Oreo cookies
  • Vegetable oil (for frying)
  • Powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Heat Oil:
    • Pour vegetable oil into a deep fryer or large heavy-bottomed pot to a depth of about 2 inches.
    • Heat the oil to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare Batter:
    • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and granulated sugar.
    • In a separate bowl, beat the egg, then whisk in the milk and vanilla extract.
    • Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until smooth and well combined.
